Works Package Manager (Clean Utilities and Piping) Life Science Projects - Singapore

The Location: Singapore City Centre/Project Location Tuas

Duration: 2-year direct hire position with extensions

Working Week: Approx. 45 hours per week (Monday to Friday) OT & Saturday working maybe required dependent on operational requirement.

The Offer: $9,000 - $11,000 SGD / Month + Bonus

Duties / Responsibilities

The Works Package Manager (Clean utilities and Piping) is an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a background in managing the design, construction and commissioning of complex, large-scale projects within the life sciences industry and is a key relationship manager between the Engineering Design Team and the Construction Delivery Team. The position reports directly to the Project Manager and is accountable for successful delivery of the Mechanical packages (such as piping and Purified water system (PW) Water for injection (WFI) Pure steam (PS) Nitrogen & Compressed Air (N2 & CA)) from a safety, quality, schedule, cost, and client satisfaction perspective. #

As well as strong technical Mechanical Engineering skills, this person also has strong commercial acumen for managing the procurement of Mechanical and clean utilities equipment for the overall project (or designated Plot/Areas within the project). You will be an important contributor to driving a collaborative and high-performing culture within the team.

Candidate Requirements

​ Degree qualified Mechanical Engineer

​ Minimum of 10 years of experience gained in the construction of large-scale life science / cGMP Facilities / Semi-Conductor or Industrial projects.

​ Ideally gained experience working for EPC/EPCM companies

​ Experienced in clean utilities scopes of work

​ Experienced in managing multi-disciplined design and construction teams

​ Right to live and work in Singapore – Due to travel restrictions candidates who have an existing Employment pass or Singapore PR or Singaporean.

​ Flexible approach and able to work under pressure with a can-do attitude
